Ali is the only reason I watch Your Money on weekends. He's the Anderson Cooper of business news......Smart, a great reporter, natural in front of the camera, and sexy in that intelligent guy next door kind of way. Something about his glasses and all that knowledge gets me. :) Why doesn't this guy have a prime time business show already? I wouldn't be the only woman watching.
He's straight. My room mate who works at Fox told me Velshi dated a model for a very long time until last year when she didn't want to marry him. He kept it under the radar because he didn't want negative attention on his personal life. I wish I were lucky enough to have Ali propose to me.
Some models might like to date brainy guys after dealing with dumb male models all the time. It might be more stimulating. Do you know if he has a girlfriend now?
I saw Ali with a leggy blond girl as a date(??) at the baseball game last weekend. Wasn't sure it was him until I heard him talk about planning his program. Was that the same serious girlfriend you're talking about or a different woman?
Leave him alone! Because he is on television doesn't give us the right to criticize his personal life. It is his business. He is probably a workaholic and rarely dates. How would he have the time? All we should care is he is a good reporter, and that, he is.

He should NOT be left alone. He chooses to put himself in the public eye. It's about time people OUTSIDE the media business know what he is like. This guy acts like he never dates anyone because career comes first.Too busy to get married. In reality, he always finds time to date women 30 and under. No kidding. Long-term relationships with women half his age. Workaholics DO find the time, believe it or not. WHY young, attractive women practically wait in line to date him surprises me. Sure, he's semi-attractive for being a bald guy but it's NOT like he's Shepard Smith AND you would have to hear him talk about the stock market all the time. Pff.

I'm one of Ali's colleagues and know much about a friend of his in Austin having problems with a professional athlete neighbor being a touch too obsessive with her. He spreads rumors about her and other media personalities she knows online, word of mouth, you get it. Such an odd guy.
Sounds to me that this girlfriend in Austin you speak of, the anonymous tipster posting here and the insane athlete who comes to mind may all be one and the same person trying to tarnish Ali's reputation of Facebooking to date his female fans.

3. I cannot believe you people are gossiping about frickin' Ali Velshi. He's a business anchor... boring. Try Perez Hilton for good gossip about trash like Brit Brit. It's WAY more interesting.
4. To the tard who posted the numerous "picks up chicks on facebook" comments, are you an idiot? Do you honestly believe CNN's Senior Business Correspondent, who lives in NYC, has to degrade himself to facebook for dates? Besides, everyone knows that people on those sites aren't who they say they are (thanks to the magic of "airbrushing" and straight up lieing).
Look, I like Ali Velshi. He makes the incredibly BORING world of economics and finance somewhat enjoyable and easy to understand. I also love the fact that he uses graphics on that fabulous wall. NO ONE else does that. It makes what he is saying so much more dynamic. My only complaint is to the person who uses that tacky metallic silver font as the header on most of his graphics. And, I think they should animate more. And be more 3D. And use some cool flares that shoot out. The designers should really take advantage of the z-space because that wall is too cool. That is all...

Ali is a total jerk! You said it and here's why.
He doesn't value friendship. No he thinks any female talking to him belongs in his pants. It doesn't occur to him maybe some girls are in love with someone else, want to be singl, have a boyfriend, are gay, no. He's got a pattern. Meets you on Facebook, pretends to be interested in being friends, asks to talk on the phone, and booom! He tries to meet you in person for some slick action. When you turn him down for nasty financial booty callin he spreads rumors about you behind your back AND makes people get the impression you were after him, like UM, a fatal attraction to short bald men with facial features you'd find on an ihop breakfast. Believe ali when he tells you he has the face of a boiled egg.
Yeah do not get close to him on facebook or a photo. He claims he dates Nicole Lapin, Jill Nicoletti, women he's met once, has a work relationship with, all while he's engaged to Lori Wachs. Oh yeah muuust I add he was picking up a blond 21 year old swimsuit model in california the very weekend of his proposal to Lori until she got a reality check from friends who've been victims of the Velsh's reputation smearing.
He single handedly brought down the economy when he switched to Gallaghers 2000, and Scores went the way of strip joints in the heavens. The bump we saw this spring happened after Ali ate six thousand calories at dos caminos and followed up with a mcdonalds meal across the street. Same day. Not kidding. I swear Cocoa Puffs fall out his sleeves on the Money Main Street specials.
I wouldn't have a problem with the way he looks if he were a nice dude hahaha. It sucks how he thinks he can get away with lying and abusing his power as a cnn anchor and people believe what he says. Does anyone honestly believe young women (and men??) date this bald compulsive liar mofo? Watch out men and women of facebook and the world! He will talk about you if you pose in a photo together, or heyyyy call a tabloid to link you together!
I give props to any women that said no to him, and message to his fiancee, get the hell out before he makes an ass of your relationship writing to women (and men?) online. He has been doing it years you know, when you went on vacay to Europe last summer, this year, you get it.
